What is the Microsoft Power Platform Upskill program? 

The program was designed by 1ClickFactory and Microsoft to help Microsoft Dynamics Partners from the Central & Eastern European region* get up to speed with the Power Platform by providing the specific training and knowledge-sharing that is required for a smooth start. The program consists of the following stages:

• Introduction to the Power Platform Upskill program and my Power Platform opportunity (Duration: 45 minutes). This is a free session that’s open to all Microsoft Dynamics Partners who may be interested in the program. Not only will you get introduced to the program in more detail during the session, but you will also learn the key components of a successful Power Platform practice with real business case examples (citizen developer enablement, solutions, process automation). • Getting the team ready for certification and Power Platform product readiness (September 2021):
  
  • Introductory preparation for PL-900 and PL-100 Certification (1.5 hrs). During this session, you will get an overview of the Power Platform certification paths and take a dive deep into the objectives of the PL-900 and PL-100 certification exams. Participants will get assignments focused on the main topics covered during the exam so that they can prepare individually.
  • 1 day training: App in a Day Workshop. Learn how to accelerate your PowerApps, Microsoft Flow and CDS for Applications experience with a comprehensive training in a single day.
  • 1 day training for Certification PL-900, PL-100 (Advanced Topics). During this full day of intensive training, participants will focus on advanced and less common topics, such as solution design and security considerations, AI Builder, and Power BI. The training will be a mix of theoretical materials, demos, and practical exercises.
  • 1 day follow-up and Q&A Session. This session will serve to crystalize the topics and allow us to follow up on practical assignments and answer any remaining questions that participants may have.
    
    
• Getting the team ready for successful business practice (up to 2 hours each, September 2021) These sessions will cover the following:
  
  • Power Platform fundamentals.
  • Power Platform licensing.
  • Understanding the Power Platform Architecture.
  • Getting Power Platform solutions to the Microsoft AppSource.
  • Power Platform relevant sales plays.
  • Best practices for generating leads on social media (LinkedIn).
    
    
• Individual consultancies provided by 1ClickFactory experts (1:1 session up to 1.5 hours each, October - November 2021) covering:
  • Designing your offering and Go To Market to customers.
  • Your offering and Go-to-market progress check.
  • Technical assistance for one of the following:
    • Initial Architectural discussion to define high level roadmap
    • Review of current Solution architecture
    • Code review for a ready made app
    • Troubleshooting session for a technical issue
    • Technical Q&A Session in scope of Power Apps
    • Preparation or assisted delivery of the Appin a day workshop.

What is my commitment to the Microsoft Power Platform Upskill Program?

If you are selected for the program, we expect:

• Your active participation in the training sessions.
• At least 3 persons from your team to pass the PL-900 or PL-100 certification exam by September 30, 2021.
• A commitment to design the offering and to bring it to the market (AppSource  listing, marketing campaign).
• At least 10 Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps or Power Automate-based) solutions developed and deployed on your customer environment by June 2022.

Am I eligible for the Microsoft Power Platform Upskill Program?

If you are a Microsoft Dynamics Partner operating in the Central & Eastern European region*, you are more than welcome to submit an application by July 20th, 2021. Admission to the program will be granted by Microsoft to a limited number of Microsoft Dynamics Partners only.
